The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon. (Dr) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, on Thursday, commenced cataract surgeries and medical screening with free medications for residents in the district.
During the medical intervention tagged, “2-day mega medical mission’ residents were also screened and treated for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, tuberculosis, free eyeglasses, dental care and tooth extraction.
According to the council chairman, over 1000 individuals are expected to benefit from the medical intervention.
