THE chairman of the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee, Tony Aziegbemi has denied the allegation by Governor Monday Okoebholo that some chieftains of the party collected N12 billion within 15 months from local government area chairman.
The governor made the allegation when he received the acting chairmen in his office on Tuesday.
Reacting to the allegation, Aziegbemi noted that such money was not given to the PDP leaders by the suspended council chairmen and urged the governor to back his claim with evidence.
