Aston Villa are set to sign Marco Asensio on loan from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain for the remainder of the season.
Unai Emery had a long-standing interest in the 29-year-old former Real Madrid star.
He is now close to securing the playmaker’s services after talks with the French giants.
Asensio signalled his interest in joining Villa in January after struggling for game time under Luis Enrique this campaign.
