Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika was on target for Club Brugge but it was not enough as the Belgian giants lost 3-1 to Manchester City on matchday 8 of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
It was Onyedika’s first goal in this season’s competition.
City needed an outright win to avoid the embarrassment of crashing out in the group stage.
After a tough exchange Onyedika put Club Brugge 1-0 up in the 45th minute after slotting home a cutback cross.
