Premier League chief executive Richard Masters has warned that the Club World Cup will have a negative impact on Chelsea and Manchester City if both teams progress to the semi-final or finals of the competition.
Recall that the Club World Cup final is due to be played on July 13, with the 2025/26 Premier League season starting on August 16.
