Atalanta have qualified for the quarter-finals of this season’s Coppa Italia after thrashing Cesena 6-1 on Wednesday.
Newly crowned CAF Player of the Year winner Ademola Lookman was not included in the squad for the Cup tie.
Lazar Samardzic and Charles De Ketelaere scored two goals each while Davide Zappacosta and Marco Brescianini were also on target.
Cesena’s goal was scored by Joseph Ceesay on the stroke of 90 minutes.
