Manchester City have confirmed the death of a supporter following the team’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United in Sunday’s Premier League at the Etihad Stadium.
The fan in question died after a ‘medical emergency’, with City confirming the tragic news in a statement on social media.
They said: “Manchester City are aware of the tragic news that one of our supporters passed away following a medical incident at yesterday’s match.
